The Dolly Parton Imagination Library program was recently expanded to include services in St. Paul!! This amazing program delivers books directly to children's doorsteps every month, free of charge, until they turn 5 years old! This program is particularly beneficial for building a child's library collection, especially for infants and toddlers. By working together, we can make a substantial impact and promote early literacy in our community in another incredible way.
The Imagination Library provides:
- One new, carefully selected book per month for children age 0-5, mailed in the child's name directly to their home at NO COST to the family
- A book sharing guide to help increase interaction between caregivers and children during book time (Included in each book pamphlet)
- Themes of the books include: love of reading and learning; regard for diversity of people; promotion of self-esteem and confidence.
