Eagleville Elementary School News
Principal Points - November 2013
Eagleville Elementary continues to shine through all the seasons! We have welcomed fall through all kinds of art projects, First Friday Family Meetings, and our Fall Festival celebration!
The Eagleville Staff is thankful for all the family support with each of our students! Your continued efforts at home make a difference in our daily instruction. Also, your support with your time for our school events and donations of materials allow for us to enrich the classroom experience even further! THANK YOU!
Eagleville's School Rules for Students
Take some time to ask your child about our school rules. Mrs. Schmitz and Miss Seeberger continue to work with students in all grade levels to reinforce what each of our school rules looks like and feels like. Ask your child if he/she can remember our school rules.
- Be safe.
- Be responsible.
- Be respectful.
Parent-Teacher Conference Days - November 26th & 27th
Each year our teachers plan and coordinate the times to meet with our parents to effectively communicate each child's progress. Since our time is limited with each parent it is important to be on time for your conference. We look forward to our conversations with you!

Volunteering at our school 2013-2014!
Please remember that we have changes to our school volunteer policies and procedures.
Methacton’s school volunteers are a critical and valued part of our home school community – many of the programs, activities, and special events that take place in our schools are totally dependent upon the support of our parent and community volunteers.
Many of these changes are in line with our school safety and emergency preparedness initiatives. While this will lengthen the amount of time it takes to become an approved Methacton volunteer, we know that our families support initiatives that are designed to keep your students safe while in our care. These changes, as outlined by Board Policy 916 (revised February, 2013 – as below), are:
- All volunteers will need clearances to volunteer in any capacity including but not limited to: lunch room, holiday parties, homeroom helpers, and field trip chaperones.
- The process to obtain clearances, obtain a TB test and become Board approved may take up to three months. Therefore, please begin the process as soon as possible to be ready for September!
