New Staff Spotlight - Elexis Brack

Mrs. Brack joins us from the Olathe School District and is currently our SIS (School Improvement Specialist). A graduate of the University of Kansas, Mrs. Brack got her Bachelor's degree in elementary/middle education as well as her Master's in curriculum and instruction. She attended KU for the closeness to her home in Lansing, but boasts the benefits of a larger school and the quality of their education program. She knew that education was her calling after working with 1st graders through a future education program in her school.

When Mrs. Brack isn't hanging out with her Horizon family, she is busy taking care of her own kiddos. Lincoln and Lydia are students at Mize Elementary and are involved in extra curricular activities. Lincoln loves to play soccer as well as flag football. Lydia provides the support with her cheer, but also love to dance.

A fun fact about Mrs. Brack is that she lived in Germany for 5 years growing up because her father was a pilot in the Army.

"I am so happy to be part of the Horizon Family!"

*Here are several resources in which you can find options for getting your student(s) involved in sports!

*Normally, sports registrations will run several months before the season sets to start. For example, fall soccer teams usually begin forming in the spring/summer.
