Principal's Message
Hello Wildcat families,
I can't believe it's February already. This month starts with the celebration of the Chinese New Year and includes the observance of Black History Month and President's Day. One of the things I love about Wilson Creek is our diversity. There is so much beauty in our school community, in our differences and in the way we learn and grow from our interactions with one another.
As we go through this month, I encourage you to talk with your kids about their heritage. Talk with them about the things that make them special and unique (interestingly, February is also National Self-Esteem month). Encourage your children to be curious about others as well. Consider taking time to learn about another country/culture, maybe one that a classmate is from.

Our School Governance Council needs you!
What is the School Governance Council (SGC)?
What makes our school so special is the wonderful community we are in. It not only takes our amazing teachers to create this environment, but also our families, local businesses, and neighborhood organizations. SGC members are made up of teachers, parents, and community members. Each person on the council plays an important part in shaping our school.
Our SGC leads in the following ways:
Create, approve, and monitor the implementation of the school strategic plan
Manage the Request for Flexibility process
Approve the annual budget recommendations and related allocations
Vote on grants that help improve our school
Declare your Candidacy
Each year terms expire for a portion of our SGC member. We need new members to declare their candidacy and run for a seat on our School Governance Council. Are you a parent or guardian for one of our students, a business leader in our community, a member of one of our many non-profit organizations, or simply one of our amazing community members? If so, being part of our SGC may be perfect for you.
Information can be found here, on the Fulton County Schools website: Click the link Charter System (SGC) or type – www.fultonschools.org/elections.
Candidate Declaration: February 2, 2022 till March 2, 2022.
Voting: March 23, 2022 through March 30, 2022.
Can’t wait to see you!

Infinite Campus Parent Accounts-If you don't have one, you need one!
There are over 600 parents/guardians without portal accounts in Infinite Campus. We would like to have all parents set up accounts as this is a valuable tool providing information about your student.
Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal
The Infinite Campus portals - Campus Parent and Campus Student - provides access to information for all enrolled students in their household. Information includes teacher communication (including weekly emails), grades, attendance, assignments, documents to be signed and school announcements.
Note: Parents must register the first time they are accessing their account. All students have access to Campus Student via ClassLink.
This link will take you directly to site to set up your account. If you have multiple students, even at different schools, they will all be linked to your one parent account.
