What is this? This free app is a great reference for formulas.


How can it be used? Students can use this app to look up linear equations, circle functions, etc... This app will also be useful outside of school.

3D Cell

What is this? This is a free iPhone application tool. It shows the cell and its structures. You can rotate the cell 360 degrees and zoom in on any cell structure. The 3D cell contains information on how each structure functions and provides access to videos about the cell.


How can it be used? This app helps students understand the cell and its structures. A teacher could use this app to get students more engaged with the material.

What is this? It is a free app that is designed for high school and undergraduate students. It is a glossary of scientific terms and biographies. Definitions are linked to learning modules and related terms.
