SPORTS PHYSICALS ARE A MUST FOR 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENT ATHLETES

Are you or your child planning on playing a school-sponsored sport? A school sports physical MUST be on file in the health clinic, along with a concussion awareness form, before any child will be allowed to practice. As our seasons are only about 6 weeks long it is important to get this taken care of ASAP.

Your personal doctor or health clinic may have a physical form for you to present to the school. The school district has a proof of physical form that must be signed and attached with any forms from your doctor. The physical and concussion forms are both found on the Wilson web page under OUR SCHOOL, HEALTH CLINIC, or can be picked up in the main office.

Metro Care Connection offers sports physicals free of charge. They will be performing sports physicals at Wilson on Aug. 19th. Call Kim or Andrea at (319) 558-2481 to schedule a time. Packets for these physicals can be picked up in the Wilson Main Office during regular business hours, 7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Parents do not need to be present on the day of the physical, but must be available by phone if necessary.
