November 2022
Message from the Superintendent
Dear TPS Community,
What an exciting end to November!
Not only is Thanksgiving right around the corner, we're getting ready to move to our new Central Office at the NEW Center Elementary School!
Important PLEASE READ
The District Administrative Offices along with Special Education, Food Services and IT are deep in the packing mode (again) to make the move on November 28th. We expect to unpack (to the best of our ability) on Tuesday, Nov. 29th. This is a very fluid process and we are asking for the patience of our whole school community as we transition to our new space. Our main telephone number for the Central Offices will remain the same, 978-640-7800. We ask for everyone’s positive thoughts that our telephones are reconnected quickly. We expect to have some interruption in telephone availability but will inform everyone, through email, once they are back up and running. Again, your patience with us through the process is most appreciated.
Please know that the new school is NOT open yet. Right now, it is a beehive of activity as the contractors continue to install furnishings, technology, and attend to the punch list of items to complete before our students and staff move in on January 4, 2023.
If all things go as planned, students in grades 2, 3, & 4 are scheduled to visit their classroom with their teacher on an in-town field trip during the week of December 19th-23rd. Our goal during this visit is to ease some anxiety for our students through this transition. A full community open house will happen after we are all settled in and unpacked. We will share that date once we have finalized it.
Parents/Guardians we need your help.
You may remember that we are in the process of developing a District Vision and the Vision for our Learners. The Assistant Superintendent, Lori McDermott and I have met with several stakeholder groups to seek feedback on the future of our district, teaching and learning goals, and the attributes you feel are most important to develop in our students at school. Please take the time to add your thoughts to this survey. We will keep the survey open until December 1, 2022.
We are Grateful and Thankful for our TPS Community.
Finally, as we near the Thanksgiving holiday, we see so much to be thankful for as we visit our schools. Our administrators are truly working hard to meet the needs of their families while maintaining their continued focus on their own instructional leadership to strengthen teaching and learning for our students.
Our talented and dedicated teachers and support staff continue to put students first and at the core of teaching and learning, as they strive to make learning engaging in an environment where everyone is valued.
And most importantly, we are most thankful to your children…our students. They bring such joy to the work we all do and give our days such a unique and powerful purpose. Our students are making amazing contributions to the world around them in striving to bring food and clothing to those in need, raise funds to cure cancer, save our environment, and by bringing such happiness and support to each other (and to us), both in and out of the class. Thank you for the values you have instilled in your children that help them to see their responsibility in being positive contributors to the world we all live in.
We wish you a healthy and happy Thanksgiving break.
Sincerely,
Brenda Theriault-Regan, Superintendent
Lori McDermott, Assistant Superintendent

All parent information is locked down and password protected within the app to prevent unauthorized people from opening the app and viewing the student’s bus information.
To set up Zonar MyView:

Enter the School Access Code when prompted - STA9559.
