Frequently Asked Questions?
A: Absolutely Free!
Q:I'm afraid that people will make fun of me. What can I do?
A: Everyone here is very accepting of people from diverse walks of life, and there's no reason you should be afraid! Just be yourself and you'll do fine!
Q: Do you guys have any experience?
A: Yes, all of us have taken acting lessons as well as improv and will be using similar activities in our lessons. Emily has taken vocal lessons, and knows many singing exercises. Ali has taken hip-hop classes and Areesha has taken tap, so they will also be teaching dances as well.
Q: What other activities will you be doing?
A: Emily has had guitar lessons as well as vocal, so if you drop in early you can learn some valuable music lessons and also develop your song-writing skills! Some days, Ali will show off his dance skills to make the club more dynamic, and will also teach students simple, but classy dance lessons.
Q: What makes your club more unique than others?
A: Well first off, it's taught by actual students, not like your average workshop that adults are in charge of. It's easier to interact and collaborate since we understand each other better. Unlike other workshops that focus on one thing (e.g. improv) we have an assortment of activities for everyone to do and each class is better than the one before.
Q: Who can attend?
A: This is mainly for grade sixes and sevens, but grade eights are welcome as well!
Q: Where can I sign up?
A: Outside Ms. Gayadeen's office there is a sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board. You cannot sign up past Thursday, June 13th, 2013.
