RCE Family Update
11.14.21 - #RCEfamily
Thanksgiving Break is right around the corner!
Please remember that we have the entire week of November 22-26 off. While this has been a challenging semester, we have so much to be thankful for!
Canned Food Drive:
Thanks for your help with our canned food drive! Our students collected 1,777 food items for Clemson Community Care! Very proud of our school for giving back to our community. Thanks to Student Council and Mrs. Young for leading this effort.
#1 - 8th grade - 642
#2 - 6th grade - 618
#3 - 7th grade - 517
Water Bottle Sales:
Our business classes have created 100 RCE water bottles to sell! There will be an order form in 1st period classes starting on Tuesday morning (11/16). Cost = $5 and will be delivered the day after ordering. I've been told if they sell out there will be more coming!
BBall Concession Stand:
Mrs. Boomhower's students put together a great presentation for administration and will be taking over the concession stand at basketball games this year! I'm very proud of them. Please take a minute to visit and support these students during basketball season!
When we get back from Thanksgiving Break, we will be starting a schoolwide fundraiser. Students will be selling the Attractions Dining and Value Guide with coupons to local restaurants and businesses. Should be a low stress, easy fundraiser. Please keep these in mind as you start your Christmas shopping! Cost will be $20/book.
School Starts @ 8:30am:
We've had a good many tardies to 1st period over the last few weeks. This causes a disruption to class. If you don't make it by 8:30am, please pull around to the front office to sign in.
Please scroll down for other important dates and information. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to call (864) 397-4200 or e-mail me anytime!
