The Miller Minute

We #cando & #willdo our personal best to inspire excellence!

Week 12 - November 4

What's Going on in the overflow lot?

The new middle school will be behind and adjacent to our campus. I am sure you have noticed that Pogue Construction has started moving dirt in our overflow lot. Their construction trailer will be housed in the lot on the outer perimeter, and trucks will use the overflow lot for staging purposes until the new roads are completed.

Pogue Construction has put down a filler for parking purposes which is GREAT news for us! The construction company has been very kind and has assured us that our overflow lot will remain OPEN for parent use for big events and should be accessible even in the rain with NO concern about being stuck in the mud! Woot!

Remember, we do not park in the grass. Sprinkler heads are damaged when vehicles run over them. Plus, who wants tire ruts in the grass?

Fundraising Information

Because of your generous support, we have met our fundraising goal! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Boosterthon was SO much fun, and we loved having our Boosterthon reps with us over the last two weeks!

We received donations from ALL 50 states! How awesome is that?!? We will have a pajama day on Friday, November 16. We will also celebrate meeting our goal with bounce houses that day!

We have 1 FINAL challenge! Safari Kahri has challenged us to reach $25,000 by Monday. If we reach that goal, Mrs Wendel and Mrs. West will get SLIMED on Wednesday morning on live announcements. While I am confident we can reach that goal, it will NOT hurt my feelings if we fall short! Ha!
