Term 2 Week 3
A new little one for the BAPS family
Congratulations to Karen Evans on the birth her new little granddaughter
Amari Margaret
NAPLAN
Our children in years 3 and 5 will be completing the National testing this week. NAPLAN is a snapshot in time and provides a diagnostic tool to be used in context with all of our school based assessments. Our focus for this week will be on ensuring each child has the best opportunity to achieve their own personal best.
I have emailed all staff an overview of our reporting schedule. Our report is smaller and more concise than it has been for a few years. Keeping this in mind please continue to improve each student each day. The report should just be a reflection of the achievement of each child.
Rugby
Congratulations to our Rugby Union teams. Thank you to Jamie and Rich for coaching the teams and our teachers taking backfilled children throughout the day. The teams will now progress with the possibility of playing on Alianz stadium before a Waratahs match.
Our netballers are up next.
LMBR
As we get closer to our 'Go Live' date the tasks required and training for Sandy and Tracey will continue and they may be unavailable at different times over the next few weeks. The challenge is that LMBR is akin to learning a new language in a short period of time.
We all appreciate your patience during our transfer over to the new system.
Instructional Coaching
I will leave our Instructional Coaching survey up until Friday 13th. The surveys are anonymous so please feel free to give your thoughts. They are important.
