January 3, 2022
It has been so great to see all the Dolphins back at Dryden! This past week was quite an adventure as we navigated rising COVID-19 cases, staffing shortages and sub-zero weather! Throughout these challenges, our staff, students and families have risen to the occasion and have been extremely understanding and supportive. We are incredibly grateful for our partnership and truly amazed by the dedication and flexibility of all involved. THANK YOU!! As we approach bumps in the road ahead, we'll continue to work through them together - that's what makes Dryden such a great community! And that's why #drydenrocks!

With the increase in cars during the morning drop-off, we would like to review some procedures to help the carline going smoothly:
- Please remain in your car to keep the car line moving.
- During arrival, once the buses leave, cars can pull-up in the bus line, and students may come in the building through the main entrance.
- If you are dropping off in the car line / bus line, students should have their masks ready to put on and be able to get themselves and their things out of the car independently.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and patience on these matters!
At Dryden, we FLIP for good choices! The Dryden staff is on the lookout for students going above and beyond in big and small ways to make a positive impact on their school community. These Dolphin sightings are recognized during the morning announcements on Fridays. The students above were recognized for showing persistence, helping others, and taking care of their school environment. Stay tuned for weekly updates on these awesome Dolphin sightings and Friday Flips!
K-5 MAP Testing Reports
Please check your child's backpack mail on Friday, January 14 for their winter MAP report. If you would like to make alternate arrangements to pick up the MAP report in person, please contact the school office at 847-398-4280 and they will be ready for pick-up at the end of the day on Friday.
Whose design will be featured on the 2022 ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge official race shirt and posters? We need your help to decide! Thank you to the 123 district students who submitted a design! The race committee enjoyed reviewing them all and narrowed it down to four finalists! These shirts will be worn by over 500 participants at the ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge on April 30, 2022. Please click here to view the finalists and vote for your favorite. Voting ends on January 16th. Follow ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge on Facebook or Twitter for all race information or visit us at abc25challenge.org. We hope to see everyone there!
