Eagle View Staff Spotlight
New this year! Each week, we will spotlight a number of Eagle View staff members from each of the departments within our school. We hope it's a way for you to get to know our Eagle View family when it comes to those you're not already familiar with. Hopefully you'll get to know each of us a little better through the Eagle View Staff Spolight in each edition of the Eagle View Update.
Cassie BryntesonThis Vikings fan celebrates her birthday in March. Cassie is a familiar face to many as she has been a paraprofessional at Eagle View for 5 years. She loves spending time with her family when she's not at work ~ husband, Billy, her 17 year old son, Braydyn, and daughters, 12 year old Nevaeh and 8 year old Bella. Cassie's favorite holiday is Christmas and you may be surprised to learn that Cassie loves to cook. | Michele ZeidlerMrs. Zeidler has worked in many capacities at Eagle View over her 14 years, but her most current title is as the High Reliability Schools (HRS) Coach and Media Literacy...she teaches teachers AND kids! Mrs. Zeidler enjoys trips to Canada with her family; husband Scott, daughter Sierra, and sons Shae & Sawyer, as well as their dog, Turbo. Her favorite ways to spend time outside of work include reading, crafting, gardening, and watching Netflix. Fun fact: Mrs. Zeidler also teaches English online to children in China every morning before school as well as in the summer months. | Jackie DuoosMrs. Duoos teaches kindergarten and has been at Eagle View for 32 of her 40 years of teaching! She has one daughter, Abrielle, who is engaged to be married next year. Her daughter's fiancee has 2 children so this makes Mrs. Duoos a grandma! Over the summer, Mrs. Duoos enjoyed camping in North Dakota. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, hiking, crafting, and sewing. Mrs. Duoos celebrates her birthday in February, and wishes Minnesota winters were a little shorter. When she has time, she enjoys watching figure skating and gymnastics. An interesting tidbit about Mrs. Duoos is that on three occasions, she has fallen out of a vehicle and survived with barely a scratch! |

Eagle View Nature Center
Eagle View Nature Center
As we walk into school this week, each day seems to be more beautiful than the last! The bright red and orange maple trees have been joined by yellow birch and brown oaks. The wet fall we have had only seems to be adding to the display of colors.
The annual Pumpkin Sale is being held in the Nature Center this week. Pumpkins are brought in from a farm in Foley, and students are given the opportunity to buy a pumpkin at the pumpkin sale. 4th graders run the sale, from advertising to working shifts, unloading the truck, explaining directions, collecting money and helping students carry their pumpkins. It is such a great experience for the students. All proceeds from the sale are used to support the Nature Center and outdoor education opportunities for Eagle View students.
