Reading: Learning what words get capital letters and reviewing/reteaching material during the 3rd 9 weeks.

Writing: Writing opinion pieces with a topic sentence, body (3 supporting reasons), and conclusion

Science: Weather Unit
We will learn how to tell the temperature with a thermometer, graph weather, describe different types of weather, and learn severe weather safety precautions.

In fourth grade this week, we are continuing our discussion on copyright. In second grade we are reviewing what we have already learned about using our netsmartz. In first grade, we are discussing how to find a "just right" book. In the computer lab, I am working with fifth grade students this week on a coding unit through www.cs-first.com.
