The three startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:
- VIHealth: VIHealth focuses on the patients with HIV infection who are more than 50 years old. VIHealth's application, will be able to gather all the recommendations from the most diverse guides for a quick reference. Users should be able to enter key parameters such as creatinine, age, glucose, cholesterol, etc. and the application would deliver customized recommendations given by the guides and indexes of Fragility and Frax. All this information is then used by the application to develop a personalized exercise regime for each patient.
- Marchando: Marchando focuses on early detection of neurological disorders by analyzing the altered gait patterns. A shoe sole and a learning algorithm can provide these patterns. It will be able to identify problems on the go, apart from monitoring the physiotherapy treatment and providing recommendations on the most suitable intervention. The system is designed to help diagnose and save unnecessary costs to both public and private health systems.
- Hermes: A desktop application that serves as a mean of communication between healthcare professionals and patients’ relatives who have been hospitalized in an intensive care unit (ICU) in order to increase and improve communication with patients’ relatives, implement the clinical history, provide organized, legible, unaltered, available and accessible information.
