4th Grade Magnet Classroom Update
October 17-20

In science, students will finish building their energy machines. Students will create a sketchnote to reflect on the big ideas they learned this marking period during our energy unit. In math, students will take a pre-assessment to begin our next math unit focused on fractions. We will focus on representing fractions in a variety of ways using addition and multiplication.
With Mrs. Hartley
In ELA students will complete an end of the marking period transfer task about natural resources and how they affect movement of humans. They will also brainstorm a list of possible product cards and explore a variety of tools in order to develop a set of criteria to share with the other classes in the school.
