Volunteer Opportunities for FIRST LEGO League
Have you heard of FIRST LEGO League? FIRST LEGO League introduces students in Grades 4-8 to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FIRST LEGO League teams, guided by their imaginations and adult coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and, through the process, learn to make positive contributions to society.
The FIRST LEGO League program is well underway for the 2017-2018 "HYDRO DYNAMICS” Season. In this season’s challenge, the human water cycle describes the ways people find, transport, use, and dispose of water in order to meet a specific need or desire.
For the Project teams will need to:
- Identify a problem within the human water cycle.
- Design a solution that makes this problem better.
- Share the problem and solution with others.
So are you interested? Because we would love to have you volunteer for one of our events! More information can be found at https://4h.unl.edu/first-robotics/volunteer.
