IMLEA Monday Minute
August 27, 2018
Congratulations to Rochester Middle School
*While the website mentions travel costs, when we had an author at Creston Middle School/Intermediate Academy, we were not required to pay anything. Our author spoke once during the day for students, and we had an event at night open to the community.
Educator Networking Nights at the Children's Museum
Naturally, we hear a lot about events in the Indianapolis area; if you know of similar events in your part of the state, please let us know, and we will share them.
Money $ Money $ Money
At our August 24 IMLEA board meeting, some of our members shared other success stories. Please let us know if you have other suggestions! You can find this post on our website under Resources>Finding EDU Funding.

This Week's Update from genOn IN
If you look at "Stories of Student Action" on the pages of Learning to Give, you will notice that many of the stories are from Indiana. Joan Belschwender, genOn Director, Beth Smith, and the other Indiana consultants have done an excellent job of promoting the many free service learning resources available to educators, giving advice on implementation, and sharing the stories of their success. You can read Joan's genOn IN update for this week here for even more Indiana stories and information.
