ADDING MORE SESSIONS FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Upcoming virtual sessions and dates:
- Entrepreneur Institute! Learning all about starting your own business, skills of leadership, writing, public speaking and more. Saturdays, August 22nd through September 26th, 10a.m.-2p.m.
- Finding the Right College and How to Pay for It! Workshop designed for parents and students in 8th through 12th grades. Saturday, September 12th, 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
- Once Upon a Time in Middle School (panel discussion with High School students talking about the life of a high school student) Saturday, August 29th, 7:00-8:30p.m.
- Now What? I Am A High School Student (panel discussion with recent high school graduates and current college students on the life of a college student) Saturday, September 26th, 7:00-8:30p.m.
AMERIGROUP PROVIDES FUNDING FOR FOOD INSECURITIES
The Young People E.A.T (Every child to succeed, Achieve and Thrive) program will soon begin to connect resources and programs to reduce food insecurities affecting youth in Maryland. Maryland is home to 650,200 people, including 204,660 children, who don't know where their next meal is coming from. Find out how you can help feed a child one meal at a time. The Young People E.A.T. program will provide good food, tutoring and peer mentoring for middle and high school students.
