From the Principal

Today at Mass, Fr. Kosem thanked our students for their generous contributions to help feed the poor. He reports that Helping Hands shelves are entirely stocked, and they are confident that 500 families will enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner due in part to your generosity. He reminded the students to count their blessings, enjoy their family, and most of all remember to say "thank you." All of which was great advice as we head into our Thanksgiving break from school. Should you be traveling over this holiday, be safe!

Many blessings,

Mrs. Molly Hibler.

Marco Pizza Mix Up

For those of you inconvenienced by the recent mix-up, here is what happened. We try to schedule canned food hoodie days as Marco Pizza Night as well. This month, because of Thanksgiving break, the food collection drive was moved to have the items collected before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, this change did not get communicated to Marco Pizza. They were not appropriately staffed to handle the orders on November 14th. The date was moved to November 28th to allow Marco's time to reprint their flyers. Our sincere apology for any inconvenience.

Canned Food Drive

Friday we continued to have donations arrive for Helping Hands. We are approaching the collection of 7500 cans! Many thanks to the teachers, students, and parents for supporting this effort. A very special thank you to Ms. Bickett, Mrs. Tollett, and the entire Service Council for organizing and running such a successful campaign. Together, we can make a difference, one project at a time. God bless all of you!

PTO-Board Position Opening

The PTO is seeking a secretary to sit on the board. Meetings are limited to about four a year so taking time away from your other responsibilities is not demanding. This person would keep minutes at the meetings and also be responsible for adding periodic postings on the PTO twitter, FB and Google accounts. All of this can be done in the evening, while you are waiting to pick up your child, or frankly any time at your convenience. Ideally, we would love to have this person sit on the board for two years but are willing to have someone pick up for the remainder of this school year. Please send your questions or interest to

Get your Hot Lunch Here!

We are testing a hot lunch program offered by Cuyahoga Vending. Every Friday we will provide one hot lunch prepared selection. The menu for November 30, includes chicken tenders with tater tots, green beans and applesauce for $3.50. Please view the website for additional details regarding this program

A Note About Fresh Market Accounts

If you need to load money onto your child's account, you may do that at home online. If you need information on how to do this, contact Mrs. Januzzi. Your child can load money here at school in the morning (we have the staff to help.) When sending money in with your child $1, $2, $5, $10 or $20, note we cannot give cash back. If you have more then one child, each child will need their own money, seeing everyone has their account.
