service project - we need your help!

St. Gemma Galgani Book Box Service Project

In honor of St. Gemma Galgani, the patron saint of students and 6A’s adopted saint, Mrs. Holland is coordinating a service project where students are turning recycled computer boxes into interactive story boxes that will be donated to preschools and special needs classes in our community. These boxes will also contain a QR code with a 6th grade student reading the book, bringing these books alive for the children reading them.

Please consider helping by donating one or more books from the wishlist below to help our students continue to serve their community!

Brand new student desks and chairs have been purchased for students in grades 1-8. Desks and chairs have arrived, been assembled, and have made their way to the classrooms. We are still awaiting the shipment of chairs for grades 5-8. The furniture looks great, and the students seem proud to have new furniture in their classrooms. St. Joseph Prayer

O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of Mary, the virgin Mother of God, I choose you this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor you all the days of my life. Therefore, I humbly ask you to receive me as your client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen.
