Principal's Note:
Dear Spartans,
I hope everyone was able to enjoy the break last week. We are excited for our winter sports teams to begin their seasons.
If you are looking for something to do this Sunday (Dec. 4), come support many of our students who will be participating in the Merry & Bright Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting @ 4:00 pm.
As we are nearing the halfway point of MP2, this is the perfect time to check in with your students on their academic progress. A conversation centered around turning in missing assignments and completing course work would be appropriate. If additional support is needed, encourage your student to take advantage of Spartan Time. This is an excellent opportunity for students to seek support every Tuesday & Thursday during the school day. Students may use Spartan Time for test/quiz/lab make ups, completing work, fitness center make ups, and SEL supports. Or maybe this is a time to take a break or perhaps read. This is not a time to be on their cell phones for free time. Students also visit our Math Lab which runs every day during lunch in J-11.
Lastly, I ask that we have conversations with our students about the responsibility and impact of posting or sharing information on social media. These platforms can be very powerful, both positively and negatively.
Thank you for your continued support!
All the best.
Pete Mazzoni
2022 Stevenson Fleece and Thank You!!
Thank you to everyone who made Fleece & Thank You a success once again We made 137 blankets today which truly is amazing. National Honor Society has been such a wonderful addition to my life and it’s always so fulfilling during an event such as this to see the students so excited and passionate about helping and supporting others. We were joined by two Junior Girl Scout troops from Randolph/Johnson and Buchanan Elementary. Members of the Stevenson Bowling team as well as Pom Pon team and student Senate were there too. So many of the amazing staff at Stevenson that are always willing to make a blanket, sponsor a blanket or help out in some way. Thank you!
