Black History Month, which is celebrated each year during February, is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. History. We will celebrate African Americans by reading about them on our morning announcements and featuring them in our entranceway for all to see.

For years, Willoughby-Eastlake has been fortunate to work with local Lions Club Members in support of vision and eye health for our students. If your child lacks adequate vision insurance coverage and you are concerned about eye health or vision needs, please reach out to your school nurse. In addition, if you have received a referral for your child's vision screening and are not able to coordinate a follow-up visit for them, please reach out. The school nurse can coordinate assistance through the local Lions Clubs. Please call Megan Kuhlman BSN, RN, LSN, CMSRN at 440-283-2257 or email her at if you need any assistance!
