Child Care During Conferences

We highly encourage that only the student attends their conference along with their parent/caregiver. For this reason, there will be FREE child care available on conference nights in the gym for other siblings (while they wait for their conference time) and non-school aged children.

Book Fair is Here

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at our school! The book fair will be in the media center on conference nights from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Proceeds from the fair help our school library!

5th Grade: Eagle Bluff Updates

  1. If you still owe money and/or forms for the Eagle Bluff field trip, please be sure to visit the office during conferences next week.
  2. Room assignments and chaperone groups will be shared with students and adults on Friday, November 11.
  3. There will be a luggage drop option on Tuesday, November 15 from 5:00-6:00 PM so that students do not have to try and haul everything on their bus ride to school that morning. The luggage trailer will be in the south parking lot at the elementary school.
  4. We will get back from Eagle Bluff at approximately 3:45 PM on Friday, November 18. As such, we will not be back in time for students to ride the regular bus route. Children will need to be picked up by a family member or friend. Start planning now!

Lost Item

An Apple Air Tag was turned into the office following last Friday's Trunk-or-Treat event. Please stop in the office to claim.

Sibley East Public School District is excited to announce the formation of an American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC).

There will be an AIPAC meeting on November 7, 2022 to begin the formation of this committee and to discuss next steps. Raptor Security System

As a reminder, our school district uses the Raptor Visitor Management System to strengthen the security of our school.

Upon entering a district building during the school day, visitors are asked to present their US government-issued identification or Driver's License. If a visitor for some reason does not have a United States government-issued identification, school personnel may use another form of identification and manually enter the person's name into the Raptor System.

The Raptor system checks to ensure that registered sex offenders do not enter our schools without our knowledge. No other identifying information is collected or recorded and the information is not shared with any outside agency. Once the entrance is approved, the Raptor system initiates a badge that identifies the visitor, the date and the reason for visit.

Whenever possible, we encourage visitors and volunteers to visit the school office prior to the day of their visit to obtain their visitor's badge. This step will help save time!

There is an easy form for people to file on their mobile devices in 15 minutes or less at: getctc.org. The deadline is November 15, 2022.
