OLOF Spelling Bee 2019
Our spelling bee purpose is to help scholars improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts, and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives. Our scholars will rally around each speller, cheering in their victories and sympathizing in their defeat. Through it all, these spellers teach each of us a lesson on true dedication, grit and resilience of the human spirit. At the end of the day, each speller who participates walks away with a deeper appreciation for language. They also take away important lessons on hard work and memories.
Spelling Bee Information:
- Our Spelling Bee will be Wednesday, January 9th.
- Our 2nd-4th grade scholars spelling competition will be 9:00 am-10:00 am (right after Mass)

J-Lo's Word
Happy New Year! It is a new year, and there have been some new changes on campus! I know that change is sometimes hard, but change is good. We are growing, rebuilding, and renewing! Here are some of the exciting changes we have this semester:
4th grade has moved from the outside classes to the main wing, and we couldn't be more excited to have them closer to us!
2nd and 3rd grade are keeping Mr. Hererra as their main homeroom teacher, but Fatima has been blessed to find two retired classroom teachers to conduct push-ins and pull-outs to support our 2nd and 3rd graders!
4th-8th graders are now taking a Speech, Choir, and Drama elective to better prepare them to be leaders in our masses by conducting readings and intentions, as well as prepare for our Spring Concert and Program.
5th and 7th graders are now taking an Engineering/Robotics elective!
I am excited for all the new things this year is bringing, and as we move into our new semester, I continue to be thankful and feel blessed for our families and our scholars.
Have a Happy New Year,
Mrs. Lopez
