Bread, cereal, and pasta are grain foods. Whole grain is a food that contains the entire grain. Refined grain foods are food that's grains have had things taken out and infused vitamins. It has vitamin b, dietary fiber, and folic acid. Vitamin b helps with metabolism. Dietary fiber help lower heart disease. Folic acid helps the body form red blood cells. To help you find whole grain food items, look for foods like brown rice, buckwheat, and millet. Boxes with whole grain, multi-grain, stone-ground, 100% wheat, or bran are usually not whole grain. Look for added stuff on the label. Lowered sodium is probably whole grain. Look for more fiber because that means it's more likely to be whole grain.
