My Life as a Teacher

My name is Michelle McHugh and I am somewhere on the "less than" side of 40. I have been a teacher in Jefferson County for 6 years in grades K-3. My Family

I was born and raised in a small town on the Canadian border in Vermont. I was a flight attendant for 12 years for United Airlines and was able to live and travel all over the world. I moved to Denver in 1998 and fell in love with the friendly, outdoorsy lifestyle of Colorado and never left! I am married to my favorite person in the world and we have an incredible daughter who just turned 12 and is growing up way to fast!

Favorite Books... so Far!

I LOVE reading and used to spend my summers holed up in the little house that was the library in my small town. The house had books stacked and shelved, literally from floor to ceiling. The smell was a mix of musty pages mixed with lilac from the fresh air blowing in through the open windows. It was like my own little magical escape into another world.
