Student Watches and Phones: PLEASE READ
Dear Parents,
Technology is something that we value and appreciate here at Clear Creek. As we all know, technology is becoming more and more accessible to our students and we understand that this means some of our students come to us with devices from home. These devices are convenient and oftentimes lend themselves to immediate communication with your child. While this is important, and something that we definitely respect, please be considerate of your child’s classroom time by contacting the office, if you need to communicate or get immediate information to your child. Texting or receiving messages, especially via watches, often interferes with daily classroom time and/or lessons. It also lends itself to providing disruptions to other students’ classroom learning.
If the device is used during class time, the device will be taken and the student can pick it up at the end of the day. If it continues to be an issue, we will move through the actions outlined in the Student Handbook on page 37.
We appreciate your understanding and assistance in making sure that all of our students are able to make the most of their educational day.
Kelley Begley McCall
Proud Principal

Valentine's Parties are coming up soon! Volunteers Needed!
Winter Parties went really well and we are hoping for another successful event on February 14th!
We will need party coordinators for each class, so please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054cacaa2aa5fc1-cceclassroom#/
Party Details:
Tuesday, Feb. 14th
All parties will be from 3:00-3:30
Party Coordinators may come in at 2:45.
Safety:
Instead of doing a RSVP form, we are assuming all parents will attend and still do a sign in sheet by class in the front entry.
We will maintain a single point of entry and exit for all parents/guardians in the front entry.
No classroom doors, or doors near a classroom, are used for the entry and exit of parents during events.
We will also only allow parents/guardians to enter during this time since space is limited.
Reminder: siblings are not allowed to attend party days with their parents.
If the party ends at a time of the day were you would like to check your student(s) out for the day, you will do that in the front entry as you leave. We also ask that you get your student(s) from their classrooms instead of having them called down through the office. Just be sure you connect with your child’s teacher so they know they have left with you.

Lunch Reservations: UPDATE! Please Read!
We look forward to welcoming parents and guardians to our Parent Cafe Space now that the weather is getting cooler. Please use the link below to sign up.
Due to limited space, we have to limit the number of sign-ups! But, just like before, you are always welcome to take your students outside to our picnic tables in the courtyard, sit at one of our benches or tailgate at your car if there isn't space inside or if it happens to be a day we don't have indoor seating!
UPDATE:
Since it has been awhile, we ask that if you are making reservations, that you bring lunch with you. We order lunch foods based on typical numbers for hot lunch and don't usually have enough to serve extra lunches to incoming parents.
Even if you are bringing more than one person with you to eat with your student, you only need to sign up for one spot! We have room to at our tables for 4 per student sign up.
