Ship's Log
Week of September 17, 2018
Thank you for all you've done since school has started. It feels like one of the busiest starts yet and I thought year 5 would be the easy one!
I am happy to announce that Amy Rose & Joanne Ciccone will be the new PreK 4 teachers- they will be job sharing the position- with Joanne here on Mondays/Fridays and Amy Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please help Joanne out. It will be her first 'official' day and the first day for Preschool to attend Mass with us. We have posted the aide position and hope/pray to get someone amazing into that role soon so Carrie can go back to her previously scheduled position.
We have Mass first thing tomorrow morning- that means attendance/lunch need to be done before heading to church. Mr. Potato head would love to get some ears this week!
Remind students that we are quiet the entire time we are in the church- including when we are leaving.. they should be reverent while in the church. Also remind them to hold their hands up 'high' at least in front of their hearts when receiving communion so that Father/Mrs, Petty do not have to keep bending over lower and lower. Students should be active participants in Mass, signing, responding, praying.
