This is a Smore on Romania. I am using the 5 pillars+2 study method for this paper.
Geography/Travel
Romania is a very historic country filled with castles. It is where the castle of Transylvania sits. Bucharest is the capital of Romania. Moldoveanu Peak is the highest mountain in Romania. The Danube River creates the border with Serbia and Bulgaria. The country has hot summers and long, cold winters. The coldest recorded temperature is -37.3*F and the hottest is 112.1*F. Most people live in urban areas (55%). Most people drive cars around Romania

Social/Ethnic Groups
Most of the people are romanian in romania. The kids can go to kindergarten under the age of 6. Children rights are equal to any other child. Women's rights are being protected by the constitution. Men and women have equal pay, equal treatment as regards to employment. The literacy rate for men is 98.9%. The literacy rate for women is 98.5. I am sure that the government values education. There are many ethnic groups including Romanians, Hungarians, Roma, Ukrainians, Transylvanian Saxons, Russians, Turks, Crimean Tatars, Serbs, Slovaks, Bulgarians, Croats, Greeks, Jews, Czechs, Poles, Italians Chinese, Armenians, Csangos, and more. The Hungarians and the Romanians have had conflict before.
Government/Foreign Policy
Romania has a Republic. The president is Klaus Iohannis and the Prime Minister is Dacian Ciolos. The Chamber of Disciples and the Senate make the laws. Romania has a limited government. Since Romania were communists, they had problems to solve. The USA and Romania are supporting the rights of humans. Romania is also part of the United Nations.
Religion, Language, Country Flag
81% of the population are christians. The official language and major language is Romanian with 91% of the romanians speaking it. The Romanian flag consists of 3 colors, blue yellow and red. Blue symbolizes vigilance, truth, loyalty, perseverance, and justice. Yellow symbolizes generosity. Red symbolizes hardiness, bravery, strength, and valor
Economy
The currency in Romania is Romanian leu. 1 Romanian leu = 0.25 usd. Romania exports machinery, equipment, textiles, footwear, metals, metal products, minerals, fuels, and chemicals. The GDP per capita is 9,499.21 usd. Romania is pretty poor compared to the USA.
Traditional Holidays or Festivals, Traditional Clothing, food
On January 1st and 2nd the Romanians celebrate New Years. It celebrates the new year. Below is a picture of the celebration in the capital, Bucharest.
