KAHURANGI SHOW -MATARIKI 18th MAY
This show is about Matariki - an important date on the Maori Calendar that indicates the year ahead and the seasons of harvest begin. Matariki heralds in the new year and the beginning of winter. We will be learning about this through watching Maori songs and dance.
YEAR 7 & 8 TECHNOLOGY
This term the programme is taking place this Thursday, Friday, Monday and then the following Thursday, Friday, Monday.
TOKO SCHOOL APP
This Toko School App will become the main way we contact parents in an emergency and if we need to get information out to our community immediately.
Once you have downloaded the app you will have quick access to a variety of Toko School related information.

FROM THE SPORTS DESK
JONES CUP COACHES REQUIRED
Jones Cup is a rural cluster event for Year 5- 8. At this event schools compete in rugby and netball only. These are mixed ability teams and it is an opportunity for those that don't play in these codes to participate. Jones Cup will be held on Monday 25th June, 1st postponement date 28th June, 2nd postponement date 29th of June and final postponement date 2nd July.
Practises will begin in Week 5 on Friday 1st June from 2.15-3pm.
These will run every Friday until Jones Cup.
We are still looking for coaches for Year 7 & 8 netball and Year 7 & 8 rugby, 2 Year 5 & 6 netball coaches and 1 Year 5 & 6 rugby coach. Thank you to those parents that have already offered. if you are able to commit to all practices and being available on the day of the competition please email rebecca.jury@toko.school.nz
