"But why will you say that I am mad?" This story is a captioning story it has fright, mystery and sanity all in in one. The author writes about a man who has a problem yet thinks he is fine but you will read it is not like that. This story is written in first person. In the begging he is the old mans butler, then he sees the eye and is then disturbed by it" I think it was his eye! yes, it was this! He had the eye of a vulture --a pale blue eye, with a film over it". He looked in the old mans bed room every night for the past 7 nights. On the 8th night he accidently woke the old man he saw the eye and was ones again disturbed he killed the man and chopped him up and put him in the floor of the house. He heard a knock on the door then he found it to be the police complaining about a yell for help the killer clamed nothing was wrong," Villains!" I shrieked, "dissemble no more! I admit the deed! --tear up the planks! --here, here! --it is the beating of his hideous heart!"
