Newton's First Law states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force.

For this experiment you will see that if a force pushes it then it will keep going until another force acts upon it. The force used to pull the car up the ramp is a contact force, and when the car is not moving there is a balanced force and when it is moving up the ramp there is an unbalanced force.

1.Drop ball on floor
If you drop the ball on the floor then there will be an equal amount of force sending it back up. The forces used on the pull is gravitational pull and also a contact force because the ball is hitting the floor. When the ball is falling there is an unbalanced force and when it hits the floor and bounces back up there is an unbalanced for.
