End of Year Reading Celebration
We will be celebrating the 2018-2019 school year on Monday, May 20th, 2019 with an all school picnic! We will have hotdogs, chips, and pop/water for sale ($1/piece) for families to purchase. We will also have dunk tanks with different staff members making a splash! Every student that reaches his/her reading goal will get a free throw at the dunk tank. All other throws will cost $1 or $5 to press the red button. All proceeds from the event will go towards future reading celebrations for our students! Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair will also be open for families to purchase books to get a jump start on some summer reading! Let's get together to celebrate the amazing accomplishments that our students have made this year and kick-off summer!

Count on Me-Alward Students and Staff Making a Difference
This year, our students and staff are working on taking initiative to make a difference in the lives of others. If you hear about how an Alward student, teacher, or staff member made a difference in someone else's life, please fill out the Google Form below. We will be posting these "Count on Me" sightings on our new bulletin boards right outside the main office. Students, parents and staff members can recognize others for things as simple as someone always saying hello to them or holding the door for them. We can also recognize others for going as far as helping out in the community. We want to know how our students and staff are making a difference at Alward and out in the community and celebrate these acts of kindness this year! Thank you for taking the time to support this "Count on Me" initiative this school year!
