First Day Success!

What a day!
Our class had such a fun day meeting one another, learning about each other, and experiencing our first day together. This is a great, energetic group and I'm excited about our year.
Library time
Gathering meeting with visitors
Loving the books
Opening Inquiry
Your kids learned about the Open Inquiry. We brainstormed ideas and will continue to discuss ideas. If they could not come up with something tonight, no worries, we will be talking more tomorrow. I have heard that some of your kids have already gotten started and that's exciting. The kids were super excited when we brainstormed ideas. I hope that you will find time to work on you inquiry as well. : ) I read to your ideas to the class and they really enjoyed hearing your ideas.
Purple Communication Folder
There are a lot of items in the folder. Please try not to be overwhelmed. I appreciate your time going through it all. You can return the paperwork in that folder as soon as you complete it. Don't forget that the green sheet has a back to it.
Parent Homework
In the purple communication folder you will find your homework. This is my favorite thing to ask of parents...to tell me all about your child. No one knows them better than you so lay it on me. I want to know it all! Please don't feel rushed to complete this, but I can't wait to learn even more about them.
Social Media
I hope you kept up with our day by following me on Twitter (@Mrs_LCRowe) and Instagram (@ebenezerschoolofinquiry). Once I get your contact information, I will try to add you to our class' private Facebook page if you have an account. If you don't feel comfortable with this, no worries at all. I just want to keep you connected! : )
THANK YOU!
Again, I want to thank you for trusting me with your child. I don't take that lightly at all. Together, we are going to have a wonderful year. Your encouragement and support is empowering!
