The Weekly Hoot
January 7 - January 13, 2019
Greetings All -
Happy New Year!! I hope this Hoot finds everyone happy and well. I have enjoyed the time off so much!! Christmas was festive and full of family and friends, Donovan and I celebrated our fourth anniversary, and we rang in New Year's Eve with great friends in the lobby of a hotel in Amarillo trying to get home from Red River! LOL! I couldn't have asked for a better holiday!
Please remember that Tier 3 Intervention will not be taking place the next two weeks so that testing can be done. Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Pyle will be coming around to do F&P testing on your students. I sent out an email the last week of school before the holidays letting you know what you need to have ready in order to expedite this process. Please refer to that so that we can get all of it done as quickly as possible. They will be focusing on testing the intervention students so please use your Tier 2 intervention time the next two weeks to complete testing of your other students. I expect all students to be tested and a score turned into me by Friday, January 18th.
At our faculty meeting on Wednesday, we will go over what other things need to be turned in by the end of the first semester as well as benchmark testing, tutoring schedules, etc...
Please remember that we don't change afternoon duty spots until January 22nd. We are still in the first semester right now. :)
Last reminder...this month is School Board Appreciation Month. If your class is planning on doing anything for our school board, please have it all turned into Margaret by this coming Friday afternoon. Our board meeting is next Monday.
I am excited to begin 2019 with all of you. I couldn't ask for a better group to spend my days with! :)
Love to all,
Marcy
