Trench Warfare in WWI
Trench warfare is a form of combat in which you hide in a trench when fighting other countries as to protect you from enemy fire. Some trenches were protected from barbed wire. The fields between both trenches was usually a large field easily open to enemy fire if you were out there to long.
Problems with Trench Warfare.
Trench warfare had many problems during its use. One would be the fact that if the enemy was able to take the trench it would be very difficult to escape. Another is that there were no bathrooms in a trench so people would have to sleep next to there own feces which also made it easy to get diseases while in the trench.
