This is only for students who require medication during the school day. As a reminder, all prescription medications must be accompanied by a physician's order, per LCPS policy.
Required Vaccines for Rising 7th Graders
Per LCPS and the Code of Virginia, 7th grade students cannot begin school on August 25th without documentation of the required vaccines:
- One dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis) given at age 7 or older.
- One dose of Meningococcal Vaccine (MenACWY, Menactra, or Menveo) given at age 10 or older.
- Other vaccines are recorded in our health office but are not required to attend school.
Please email all documentation of required vaccines to our school nurse at Joy.Jones@lcps.org. Please note that our school nurse does not return to the building until Tuesday, August 16th.
More vaccine information (English / Spanish).
Medication
LCPS requires a new provider/physician orders each school year for the medication or specialized care which your child receives at school. If your child will continue to need medication or specialized health care at school, you and your child’s licensed healthcare provider must complete and sign the proper form(s). Please note that parents may not amend the provider’s order for managing the child’s medical condition.
The required forms are available in the health office at your child’s school or online at www.lcps.org. Click on the “Families” tab and the forms will be found under Medication at School. The forms should be returned, along with the appropriate medication, in the original, pharmacy labelled container, the week before school starts to the Loudoun County Public School that your child will be attending. Please refer to the “Medication at School Guidelines” for further information regarding medication at school.
Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is there a school supply list? Yes, CLICK HERE.
Is Back-to-School Night for parents only? No. The entire family is invited to come on Tuesday, August 23rd. To help with traffic and parking, we suggest that families with the last name A-L come between 3:00-4:00 p.m. and families with the last name M-Z come between 4:00-5:00 p.m. Based on your own availability, you are more than welcome to come anytime 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Will there be any formal presentations during Back-to-School Night? No. During Back-to-School Night, students may pick up a hard copy of their schedule, visit classrooms, and informally meet their teachers, counselor, dean, principal, etc.
If our family is unable to come on August 23rd between 3:00-5:00 p.m., can we come visit the school on August 24th? No. Outside of Back-to-School Night, our staff is involved in required trainings and meetings. When will student schedule be available? Starting on August 15th, families can log into ParentVUE and walk through the Online Verification tool to review and verify student data, provide opt-out information, and review documents. New Meal Payment System
LCPS will replace MySchoolBucks with a new meal payment system, called Titan, for the 2022-2023 school year. Similar to MySchoolBucks, this new meal payment system allows students to put money on account to purchase school meals or other food items in our school cafeterias.
Register Now!
- Register: Register at family.titank12.com by clicking on “Sign up today!”
- Confirm Email: Confirm your email address by clicking on the email verification link sent to your email address.
- Sign In: Now you can sign in at family.titank12.com using your email and password.
Any balance left on a student’s cafeteria account from the old MySchoolBucks system will transfer to the new system automatically. Within this new meal payment system, you will be able to transfer funds between student accounts. (For example, you can transfer funds from one sibling’s account to another.)
Allergy and food intolerance information will transfer to the new system. If there is any change to your student’s allergy and/or food intolerance information, you should enter it into ParentVUE and contact our school nurse, Joy.Jones@lcps.org.

New Online Payment Portal
LCPS is very excited to announce the launch of SchoolCash Online, a new online payment system that allows parents to pay for school-related fees, including everything from field trips to yearbooks. SchoolCash Online will replace Online School Payments starting on July 5th.
How does it work?
SchoolCash Online is the industry leader in the safe and secure management of school fees. Schools post their items and activities and assign the relevant fees to your student, so you can then make purchases online using your credit card. This allows you to keep track of the school fees that require your attention.
Register now!
Registering for your free SchoolCash Online account takes less than two minutes! Visit https://lcps.schoolcashonline.com/ and click “Register,” and follow the simple instructions to set up your account.
If you have any difficulties registering for an account, please contact the SchoolCash Online parent help desk by visiting: schoolcashonline.com/Home/Support.
