Home Connection
If you read just one book a day to your child, they will have been read 1825 books by their 5th birthday. Every Day Counts! Every Book Counts!
Children who are read to at least three times a week by a family member are almost twice as likely to score in the top 25% in reading test later in school. Make it a routine….read every night! Need books? Join the public library!

Parent Connection / Resources
For Information and Resources from our Social Worker, Liz Farias, please visit: Counseling
This link will take you to many resources, such as a Bitmoji page where you can listen to 9 different children books with your child on various important topics, like kindness, being unique, and acceptance.
Family Check-in -- Please complete the Google Form to let us know if there is a need in your family we can assist with.
Drop-off/Pick-up Expectations:
- If you arrive after the staff duty time ends, please come to the main doors to drop-off/pick-up your child. Please make sure you have your yellow car tag or your driver’s license.
- For the safety of the staff, car seats must be placed on the passenger side of your vehicle.
- If your child is unable to buckle themselves, please pull forward past the 6 carpool slots to assist them.
Attendance is important to your child's academic learning and success. Unless your child is ill, please have your child ready to learn each day whether it is on campus or virtually. When your child is absent, please notify Sharon Martella, PEIMS/Registrar, sharonmartella@misdmail.org.
Change of Clothing in Backpack: Please make sure that a change of clothing is in your child’s backpack every day. Extra clothing should be appropriate for the season and still fits your child.
Clothing Donations: Gently used clothing and shoes are always needed on our campus. If you would like to donate, we’d gladly pass them along. These are great for us to provide to students who may not have an extra set of clothing for emergency changes.
