The social injustice in the book is that a certain group of people are getting killed only because they have a different religion, Jewish. One quote that clearly shows social injustice is "Are you not allowed out? Why? What have you done?" said Bruno and Shmuel says "I'm a Jew". They have all been gathered up. Another quotes "Bruno: we're not supposed to be friends, you and me. We're meant to be enemies. Did you know that?" He was born believing to hate Jews.
Trayvon Martin a 17 year old African American male, who was falsely killed because he was black and had a hoodie on he head and was carrying something in his hand. This if nothing else is a huge social injustice to the max. In my book, Jews are being killed everyday in concentration camps, only because of their religious beliefs. All types of Jews babies, men, women, teens, and toddlers. The Trayvon Martin case is a perfect example the social injustice hasn't changed at all over the centuries. This needs to stop so that the world can advance as a world and not individuals.
