Last week we....
Discussed and went over different Roman achievements and innovations, and compared and contrasted the US political system to Ancient Roman political systems. If you have not finished the discussion boards, please do so this week by Tuesday 4-14.
This week we will....
Monday and Tuesday (4-13/4-14)- Discuss the rise and death of Julius Caesar and how he came to power by watching a video PowerPoint and taking a short quiz on Schoology.
Wednesday and Thursday(4-15/4-16)- Introduce the fall of Rome and reasons why its political system failed by using readings from Discovery Education textbook.
Friday (4-17)- Make sure you are caught on assignments for the week and email me with any questions you may have.

Read the short story All Summer in a Day, learned about setting, and analyzed the setting of the story. We also learned more about how to make an inference and made our own inferences about the story.

Monday 4/13: Learn about what goes into the plot of a story and analyze the plot of All Summer in a Day.
Tuesday 4/14: Compare & contrast the elements of plot with life on Venus to life on Earth
Wednesday 4/15: Analyze vocabulary words found in the story
Thursday 4/16: Introduce iReady Reading and learn how to use the platform
Friday 4/17: Take the first iReady Reading lesson on compare & contrast
