Annual Family Check-In (AFC) - Mandatory for all students!
The Weld RE-4 School District uses our annual family check-in to verify student information. Annual Family Check-In (AFC) is a mandatory process that ALL parents will need to complete annually.
Note: we can not start building your child’s schedule for next year until this has been completed. Please complete your AFC as soon as possible.
Parents are able to verify and update the following information online:
Census & Household information
Emergency Contacts
Code of Conduct
Technology approval (6th grade)
Publication Consent
Immunizations (6th grade)
Early Dismissal
Parents may update AFC now by logging into the Portal and navigate to either of the highlighted areas pictured below.
Thank you for your generosity!

Reminders
Building Doors Open @ 8:15am
This is a friendly reminder that we start screening students at 8:15, and 8:15 is our drop-off time. In the case of inclement weather, we will not have a place for students to go! Please do not drop your child off prior to 8:15 as there will be no adult supervision or access to the school building.
Pick-up & Drop-off Procedures
When dropping off or picking up students at the main building entrance, please pull all the way forward! This helps avoid traffic jams when entering the main parking lot.
Masks
Masks are required for all students and staff. Face coverings will be required for students in all schools, including Windsor Middle School. Everyone in a district building will need to provide their own cloth face coverings; wearing them will be enforced on our school campus as part of our dress code policy.
We are noticing that many students are coming to school without masks. While we do have some to supply, that supply is limited. Please help us remind your child to bring a face mask every day.
Water Bottles
Please help us remind your child to bring a water bottle every day. Drinking fountains won’t be available, but water bottle fillers will be available for students. Bottled water will also be available for purchase (for $1.00) at lunch time. In order to limit cash exchanges, we strongly encourage you to pay for your child’s breakfasts and lunches online at My School Bucks.
Thank you for your support, understanding and patience with our building procedures!
MASKS REQUIRED
ALL people should be properly wearing a mask while in school.
Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
Thank you for your cooperation!
The Yearbook Intro Design Contest - Submissions Due Today!
Freezin' for a Reason: March 27th, 2021
The Windsor Police Department is hosting this year's Northern Colorado Polar Plunge right here at Windsor Lake (100 N. 5th St.). We wanted to invite all the students to participate in this year's event and make it the biggest on record. Each school can create a team for the students or possibly join a team at the middle school or high school.
This year can be completed in person by taking a dip in the lake or virtually from home. Depending on the students age a parent will have to sign a waiver for the in person piece.
Here is the event page where you can find more details about March 27, 2021.

Sports Announcement
Hello Parents of Athletes,
In order to comply with Weld County and CDPHE Guidelines, and to try to get your kids in as many games as possible, we have a few requirements that we would ask you to follow.
Our Home fans will be entering and exiting the building through the old Main Street Entrance. There will be signage directing you to the proper doors. In order to be allowed in the building, you will need to have your ticket. We will be laminating two tickets per player. Please hold on to those tickets through the season. There are designated, socially-distanced seats for you to sit in while in our gym. We ask that you stay on the Home side of the bleachers, and remain in your seats throughout the entire game if possible. After a game or match, please wait for your child to come to you, and then proceed out of the gym as quickly as you can. We need to sanitize the gym in between events, and we are usually hosting two events a night. We are required to have a 30 minute "rest and sanitize" break, and the sooner we start that, the sooner we can start the second event of the evening.
We will also be requiring everyone to wear masks at all times while in our building.
We are very excited to be able to offer your kids the chance to participate in activities they love. Please help us to continue to offer these opportunities to your kids by following the guidelines outlined above. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me.
