What are the working conditions and physical demands?
The producers work conditions are fairly similar to the directors work condition. They have to deal with bad weather and long work hours. They also work under a lot of pressure and stress to make sure that there production is finished at the right time.
What are the work hours and travel?
The producer has a very long and irregular schedule. Some of the most common times they have to work are on holidays, weekends, and sometimes from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed. Their transportation depends on where the movie is being filmed. If their set is close to where they are staying then they might take a car or taxi. If the set is in a different country, then they will take a plain to their hotel and then take a car or taxi to and from their hotel. Sometimes they might just live in a trailer next to where they are filming.
What are the educational requirements for this job?
You have to have a bachelor’s degree and several years of work experience that is related to TV, motion picture, and/or theatre production.
