Furthermore we appreciate our teacher leaders for tapping into the potential which each learner posses. One simple example of this is our Investigating Career Students completing 6 weeks of Junior Achievement, hosted by TWU students. They explored career clusters, the difference between debit and credit cards, advantages/disadvantages of going to college or directly to work after high school, and differences between insurance products. Also our fifth grade SALT team wrapped up their campus service with a sweet treat!

Howdy Lobos!
PSA is excited to introduce and welcome 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) teacher, Mrs. Erica Brown. This is Mrs. Brown’s first year here with us at PSA and fourteenth year of teaching. Mrs. Brown was born in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Elementary Reading.
What Mrs. Brown loves about teaching reading and writing is sharing her love of reading and books with her students. “I am excited to see my students continue to grow in their love for reading.” One of Mrs. Brown’s goals for the year is to continue to grow and support her students in the area of reading and comprehension.
Mrs. Brown is married to her wonderful husband, Earl IV, and they have two amazing boys - Earl V, 10, and Eagan, 8. They also have one cat, an orange tabby named Haggis. In Mrs. Brown’s free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading a good book, and watching HGTV home improvement shows. An interesting fact that many do not know about Mrs. Brown is that she was adopted at the age of three into a loving family.
PSA is also happy to have Mrs. Brown as part of our family!
