service project - we need your help!

St. Gemma Galgani Book Box Service Project

In honor of St. Gemma Galgani, the patron saint of students and 6A’s adopted saint, Mrs. Holland is coordinating a service project where students are turning recycled computer boxes into interactive story boxes that will be donated to preschools and special needs classes in our community. These boxes will also contain a QR code with a 6th grade student reading the book, bringing these books alive for the children reading them.

Please consider helping by donating one or more books from the wishlist below to help our students continue to serve their community!

out with the old.....

We are awaiting the arrival of almost 400 student desks and chairs for our classrooms! The items have shipped, and we are expecting the delivery before Thanksgiving. That being said, we need to find a new home for the existing desks and chairs we have in our school building. If you would like a student desk and/or chair for any reason, please email Ms. Summer at sdehaven@stjosephwhschool.org.

St. Joseph Prayer

O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of Mary, the virgin Mother of God, I choose you this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor you all the days of my life. Therefore, I humbly ask you to receive me as your client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen.
