Weekly Behavioral LOOK-FORS:
- It is Halloween Week! EEEKKKKKKK
- Continue to review your classroom management expectations and system, in addition to the school wide systems. Review those expectations like it is the 1st day of school.
- Use of Dojo points and ROAR Tickets to continue to positively reinforce behavior. On Friday Nov 1, 2019, we will be holding grade level dance parties for each classroom that has 250 or more ROAR tickets.
- When students enter your classroom doors in the morning, make sure that you're checking the pulse of students. Engage restorative in Check in and check ups on students. We are focusing on building trusting relationships with our students. This also sets the tone for the rest of the day.
- Use your classroom Treatment Agreements this week and start setting goals with behaviors that are becoming CHRONIC in your classroom setting. Example: (1) I can raise my hand to get out of my seat, (2) I can follow direction with no more than 2 directives from the teachers, or (3) I can walk down the hallway using a 'zero voice.'
