A Newsletter for All Things 8th Grade
Week of March 14, 2016
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We will have a "Luck o' the Irish" Snack Bar at recess to raise money for Reach Out - so remember to bring a few dollars. Thank you to Olivia P. and Meghan S. for organizing!
The Middle School Talent Show! This is a great opportunity for middle school students to show off their talents to their younger school family members. It is a time for bonding among students, and demonstrating the mastery that comes from a dedicated commitment to learning a particular skill (dance, vocal and instrumental music, etc.). Thank you to Audrey B. and Michael B. for organizing!
Just a reminder - There will be no school on Friday, March 18 for Conferences. Please schedule a conference with only the teachers you need to meet with.

Time to Get Artistic!
This weekend, it's YOUR turn to get messy! Saturday, March 19 is our first community work day. It is optional for students, but we would love to see all the 8th graders and their parents in the HPAC any time between 9am-3pm to help us paint and build the set! We would greatly appreciate any old paint (any color, especially black), brushes/rollers, buckets/trays, etc. that you would like to donate to the production. Please wear something you don't mind getting paint on!
