Welcome to a New School Year!
Antelope High School Parent Newsletter
Welcome Back to another School Year!!!
I ask you to continue to partner with us so together we can work towards making sure your child finds a sense of place here at Antelope. One of the most important factors for student success is making sure students find connection at their school, making sure they find their fit. This can mean many things for our diverse student body. We now offer a Society of Women Engineers club for female students interested in pursing an engineering pathway and degree; we also established a Best Buddies chapter and club to help provide peer friendships to students with disabilities; the list really goes on. There is a place for your student at Antelope. Please feel free to reach out to any of our staff or myself if you have questions or want more information about opportunities for your students.
Most importantly, our school is all about building and cultivating positive relationships with students, staff and community. Our parents and community are an essential part of our school and this year we want to make sure you feel included and informed about Antelope High School. We will be providing opportunities for you to participate in our school whether it be Site Council, volunteering or attending parent forums to provide feedback to us on how we can continue to get better. We also are going to work on our communication with our community through Instagram, our website and other platforms, so you have up to date information that is easily accessible.
I look forward to partnering with you this year!

Counseling Changes this Year
As we move forward with our continued care for all our students, our counselors are going to continue to work in concert with each other to make sure those relationships are still unaffected. We will continue to support our students, especially our seniors who might have some anxiety due to college admissions. Our workshops for college letters are group focused and that won't change; seniors will get the same services and we will make sure to provide the continuity of care they have received their past three years moving into this upcoming year. Our goal for counseling services remains unaffected through this change: taking care of every kid, no matter which counselor they are assigned.
If you have further questions, feel free to contact Assistant Principal Lindsey Parker at lparker@rjuhsd.us or Principal Tino Guzman at fguzman@rjuhsd.us.

Chromebook Insurance
If you would like to help safeguard against Chromebook mishaps and accidents, please purchase a yearly warranty for your child's Chromebook. The cost is 30.00 dollars. If you would like to purchase this warranty, please go online and go to page three for the Chromebook protection plan. Once you fill this out, either you or your student can go to student services (Mrs. Jenny Carroll) on campus and turn this form in with a check or cash. If you decide to purchase online, please click here and you can create an account and do it all online on the Titan Online Store.
