FAC Weekly Update
March 31, 2023
Good Morning, FAC Family
We hope that you had a fantastic week! The FAC has launched "full speed ahead" into the 4th Quarter of the school year, and we are excited to cap off this week with our annual downtown showcase - ELEVATE. Our students are excited to perform for a packed Gunter Theatre tonight. It should be an evening to remember!
There are a lot of good things to celebrate and look forward to at this time of the year. Keep reading for some outstanding accolades and information on upcoming FAC performances.
Here’s the latest from the halls of the FAC…
This Week's Student Leadership Lesson
The Difference Between Successful and Unsuccessful People
Three Major Differences Between Successful and Unsuccessful People:
1. Thinking
» Successful people daily think realistically about their problems and positive ways with which to approach them.
» Unsuccessful people think unrealistically about their problems and hope that everything
works out.
2. Feeling
» Successful people know their behavior determines their feelings.
» Unsuccessful people allow their feelings to determine their behavior.
3. Doing
» Successful people initiate and complete.
» Unsuccessful people fail to do both.
You can’t build a reputation on what you’re going to do.
Reminder to Students Returning to the FAC for 2023-2024
Current students - if you received an offer to return to the FAC next year, you will need to go into your GCS student backpack account to accept the offer. The deadline to complete this task is next Wednesday, April 5, so please take care of this right away.
