Ranger Round Up!
News to Know
The 2021-2022 school year is off to a great start! Thank you for your help these past few weeks completing paperwork, communicating with teachers, and adjusting to our new traffic pattern. Students are now completely familiar with expectations and procedures. The month of September will be full of learning!
This week the students are taking the NWEA Maps Interim Assessments in English, reading,
and math. The results from this assessment will be shared with you at Parent/Teacher
Conferences in October. Students will take this assessment again in March, and the data from both assessments will be compared to show growth.
This week we also implemented our first ever S.W.A.G. time. "Students With A Goal" is what we have named our intervention and extension time here at Darby. This is a 27 minute block of time embedded during our school day. During this time students can get help from teachers on classroom content they may not have learned yet. If students do not need help with their coursework, they are able to choose from a list of extension and enrichment sessions. This is new for our school and we are excited to have another way to help your student be successful!
*School Hours are 8:00-3:15
